If you spent your vacation with us in 2008 and make a reservation for the year 2009, we grant you a 5 % discount on the new reservation.
Administration fee for a booking on-line or one week rental
A € 25,- administration fee is requested for reservations limited to one week only and for bookings on-line.
Cancellation insurance
People, who for any reason are unable to come and take possession of the apartment they have reserved, can only be reimbursed of the rental paid in advance if we succeed in renting out the said apartment for the same period. In other words, the tenant remains entirely responsible for the full amount of the rental. It being quite possible to take an insurance against this risk, we strongly suggest that you take one.
Heating
Most of our houses are equipped with a heating. Until the 25th of april 2008 and after the 26th of september 2008 we charge euro 70,- a week for the use of the heating. For houses with 3 bedrooms or more we ask euro 80,- a week for the heating. If for whatever reason you‘ll need to use the heating after the 25th of april 2008 and before the 26th of september, please ask at our office. Some houses have a meter registering the gas you use for the heating. Here you pay what you use.
Payment of the rental
After receiving our confirmation on the full availability of the apartment reserved, you are required to make a first payment of € 250,- which actually becomes your fixed and definitive reservation. The balance will have to be paid 7 weeks before the beginning of your stay with us. A receipt will be sent to you for each payment.
Payment at your arrival
It may happen that a reservation is made very shortly before the actual arrival. In this case we have to ask you to make your payment right upon arrival and in cash. As it is not recommended that one should travel with much money along, we suggest that you make your payment with your bank before leaving, and bring us evidence of the payment made. We cannot accept credit cards.
Option for the year 2009
Each tenant can take an option for the coming year. This option can be cancelled at no charge at all up to the end of the month of december, 2008.
Business-hours
Our office is open from 9 a.m. To 12 a.m. Every week day. On sunday our office is closed. Naturally, in case of emergencies we can be reached at any time. On saturday we are only open for the new tenants, until 7 p.m. We ask you to arrive before this time. If you cannot make it before 7. P.m., please give us a call. Saturday is arrival day from 28-06-08 until 27-09/08. In low and medium season you can arrive any day of the week, except sunday’s. We kindly ask you to plan your trip accordingly.
Mail and fax services
Your mailing address when you are with us is "c/o La Navicella, Le Caselle 14, 06069 Tuoro sul Trasimeno (PG), Italy". Don' t forget to mention, after your own name, the name of the apartment you are staying at. We ask you to come by at our office from time to time, to see if any fax, telephone call or letter has arrived for you. Naturally, if we notice that something is urgent, we get promptly in touch with you ourselves. An amount of € 0,50 is charged for every out-going fax sheet and €2,- per 15 minutes for the use of internet.
Swimming pools
They are open from the 25th of april until the 26th of september-. Use of the swimming pools is free of charge and is strictly reserved to the tenants of the apa-,·rtments and villas. Exceptions are Casa Emilia, La Fattoria, Caigatti, Contessa Margherita, Lisi and Casa Marcella where the owner and his family, now and then, make use of the swimming pool.
Dogs
In some apartments dogs are not allowed. In houses where dogs are allowed, you pay an extra euro 30,- per week. More then one dog is not allowed.
Washing machine and ironing board
A washing machine is available for all tenants at La Navicella, at the cost of € 5,- each time, while an amount of € 2,- per hour will be charged for the use of the ironing board.
